This is a richly-textured, silky wine, reflecting the best of the appellation in this extraordinary vintage. It is deeply colored with scents of black fruit and spice with a long, mineral-laced finish.
About this wine producer: Château Corbin is one of the oldest estates in Saint-Émilion. Unique in the history of the area, this Château has passed from other to daughter for multiple generations, and is currently in the hands of Anabelle Cruse-Bardinet.
There are 13 hectares of vineyard planted to Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Most of the vines are in a single parcel on sandy clay, and iron-rich limestone. Anabelle has invested heavily in the property, replacing dying vines with dense plantings and updating the winemaking facility.
