From a selection of top vineyard sites within the Sta. Rita Hills AVA, the Cuvée Diana is barrel fermented and aged in a mix of neutral and new barrels. Their are rich fruit and subtle spice aromas on the nose. The wine's rich texture is balanced by vibrant acidity, and a long, elegant finish.
About this wine producer: Rick and Diana Longoria established their tiny winery in 1982, feuled by the belief in the potential of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay in Santa Barbara County. Their first release was in the same year. Rick had been making wine in California since 1974, when he apprenticed with the father of modern California wine, André Tchelistcheff. Currently the Longorias produce about 3,000 cases in total from leased vineyards and purchased grapes as well as from their estate vineyard, the renowned, Fe Ciega.
