Moore Brothers New Jersey

New Arrivals from Tuscany, Saturday, April 20, 11AM-5PM
A big boat from Tuscany is on the way (Poggio al Sole's cult-favorite Sangiovese Bianco is on board!), and we'll be celebrating its arrival with a tasting of four new vintages from four outstanding Tuscan estates. Please join us for a fun and informative tasting tour through the vineyards of Tuscany, from Chianti Classico down to the Bolgheri coast.

Rosé Happy Hour! Friday, April 26, 5-7PM
New rosés are rolling in every week, and yes, Proprièta Sperino's Rosa del Rosa is on the way! Come on down and taste (we'll be pouring it on the Tasting Table alongside three more exceptional rosés) during this rare Friday night in-store tasting.

Visiting Winegrower Tasting with Tyler Eck of Dunites Wine Company, Saturday, May 4, 11AM-5PM
Tyler and Rachel Eck's tiny 1500 case per year Dunites Wine Company represents ambitious contemporary California winegrowing at its best. Though both have backgrounds working for blue-chip estates in Sonoma and Santa Barbara, their goal for Dunites was to capture, as Tyler calls it, "the natural wildness and vibrancy" of the San Luis Obispo Coast by working in the cellar with as little intervention as possible. The wines combine classic, sunny California fruit purity with thrilling, savory tension. We hope you can join us in welcoming Tyler to Moore Brothers for the very first time.

Visiting Winegrower Tasting with Stefano Tonelli of Fattoria Villa Ligi, Saturday, May 18, 11AM-5PM
The Tonelli family are champions of the local grape varieties found in the hills of their native Pergola, just a bit inland from the Adriatic coast in Le Marche. At Villa Ligi, you'll find Stefano Tonelli tending to vineyards planted to Pergola Aleatico (a native red grape with a history in the region of over 700 years) and Bianchello del Matauro (which, according to local legend has been cultivated in Le Marche for 2000 years)—two varieties that are otherwise unknown outside of the region. Please join us to welcome Stefano to Moore Brothers for the first time, and to taste his beautiful wines, including his Pergola Aleatico "Grifoglietto," the flagship single-vineyard red wine of Villa Ligi.

Visiting Winegrower Tasting with Alessandro Castellani of Ca La Bionda, Saturday, June 8, 11AM-5PM
Alessandro's back for the first time since 2014! Please join us as we welcome our good friend Alessandro Castellani of Ca La Bionda, one of the leading estates in Valpolicella, back to the Tasting Table. Along with his elegant single vineyard Valpolicella "CasalVegri" 2021 and flagship Amarone "Ravazzol" 2018, Alessandro is sending us a tiny quantity of his exceptional "Bianco del Casal" a blend of autochthonous white grape varieties of the Veneto, which will make its Moore Brothers debut at this special visiting winegrower tasting.

Visiting Winegrower Tasting with Anna Reimann of Weingut Cantzheim, Saturday, June 22, 11AM-5PM
Anna Reimann's laser-focused Saar Rieslings have been featured at Moore Brothers for six years, sharing the German stage here alongside those from our longtime friends and suppliers Jochen Ratzenberger, Andreas Von Canal, and Klaus-Peter Keller. Ancient vines, terrifyingly steep hillsides, and rigorous farming at Weingut Cantzheim results in wines that crackle with acidity and electrifying slate minerality, yet are underpinned by exquisitely pure fruit. We hope you can join us as we welcome Anna to Moore Brothers for the very first time.
